“ Nice service, nice food. That's a summary of my experience at Z's House of Thai. Order: Chicken/Veggie potstickers Basil fried rice with pork I've never met a potsticker I didn't like and these were no exception. They were soft enough to cut with my chopsticks. The basil fried rice is typically one of my favorite dishes, but Z's House of Thai left me slightly disappointed. I liked that it was full of tender vegetables like carrots and broccoli, but the flavor was bland. It had all the right ingredients, but was lacking in flavor. Did I eat it with no complaints? Yes. Have I had better? Also, yes. I like that each table has a canister of chopsticks, flatware, and drinking straws. It saves you the trouble of asking. The drinking water comes flavored with citrus, which I enjoyed. If only the basil fried rice was as flavorful ;) ”

“ The curry here is phenomenal. I dream about it and slap the hands of my family if they try to take a bite. The pad Thai is good and the location is top notch nestled into the hills of Cave Creek. A must try for lunch and dinner. ”

“ Thai food in the Creek I've seen Z's House of Thai mentioned online for a long time now, so when a friend wanted Thai food for lunch, I said, "I know just the place!" It's a small shack-like building tucked away in downtown Cave Creek, right next to Janey's. Choose to sit at the bar, a table in the dark interior or out on the patio. We choose the nice cool weather outside with views of mountains and saguaros, because when I'm in the Creek, I want to sit outside in it. We shared a few items: Green curry with chicken, cucumber salad, and the server suggestion of the BBQ pork. We had intended on trying more, but honestly, this was the perfect filling lunch for two. I don't believe that you can ever go wrong with a cucumber salad as it's so light and refreshing. Not only did I love the flavor of the pork appetizer, but the unexpected slight crunch was so nice as well. The green curry was fresh and tasty with a hint of spice. A small tin of extra spice sauce was brought out if we wanted to add extra heat. I love hanging in the Creek and Z's is another quaint location to enjoy good food and feel the small town vibes. ”

“ Northern Thai food. Delicious. You spice at your table so you manage the amount you can handle. I love their shrimp pad Thai. I get double shrimp bc I love it, not bc they don't give you enough! This week we also had Thai chicken basil. I love this dish because of the perfect balance of flavors. Perfect umami! It is a family owned and tuned place. The husbands are in front of the house and work very hard. They are always pleasant even when swamped with people! Best time to come in house is around 6:45. Outside has heaters if the inside is full. Even better, we get to-go quite often. Love it! ”

“ My wife and I just moved to CC. We had left our town with one regret. We were leaving our favorite Thai restaurant. Looked up Thai places in CC and found Z's. My lord, had the Green and Yellow curry chicken dishes, which was our staple at the other restaurant. Was the most incredible flavor and we forgot the old place and have found a better one. Service $ food was an easy 5 Stars!!!! ”

“ On a whim our group stopped in after a long day of sightseeing. It is a cozy spot with plenty of outdoor seating and lots of cute welcoming tables inside. It is a smaller space but plenty of seating, so you feel cozy and not cramped. It was a busy Friday night but they found a table for our larger group and the server was amazing. He was welcoming and helpful, and when we had to accommodate another addition to our table he took it in stride! The menu has a lot of great options, and I went with a wider noodle and veggies. Several tried appetizers and cocktails and said they were delicious as well. The food was fresh and just the right amount of sauce for the dish without being overly coated. Yummy! Turns out our server was a volunteer as he loved the place so much and knew they needed help, which shows the dedication this place inspires. If I'm in the area again I would for sure head back as it was amazing! ”
